Repair the problem without ignoring the environment
A failing workstation is rarely just a box on a desk. It may hold business data, use licensed applications, connect to shared resources, and be subject to security policies. Before repair, we confirm symptoms, recent changes, data risk, warranty status, and whether a replacement is more sensible.
Work can include diagnostics, component replacement, operating-system repair, updates, application troubleshooting, malware remediation, data migration, and workstation setup. Parts, licensing, and data-recovery work are quoted based on the actual condition.
- Desktop and laptop diagnostics
- Windows and application troubleshooting
- Hardware upgrades and replacement planning
- Virus and malware remediation
- New-computer setup and data migration
Onsite, remote, and depot options
Software and configuration issues may be resolved remotely with authorization. Physical failures require hands-on diagnostics, and some equipment may be handled onsite or through the Franklin Square service location depending on the situation.
For multiple affected computers, we first check shared causes such as identity services, internet access, Wi-Fi, DNS, security software, or a recent update. That avoids treating a network-wide incident as a series of unrelated PC repairs.
Repair or replace?
Age alone does not decide whether a computer should be replaced. We consider repair cost, warranty, expected remaining life, software compatibility, performance needs, and downtime. If replacement is the better value, we can help specify, configure, secure, and deploy the new system.
